Want to learn to fix holes and tears in your clothing with a professional seamstress of 30+ years!?

Join us on Friday, Nov. 7th from 6-8pm at Leaven Community Center for our workshop.

This small hands-on class will be focused on repairing holes in non-stretch fabrics, particularly denim & twill. We will talk about different ways to apply patches, techniques for linear tears vs holes with fabric missing, and some tips and tricks for keeping it all aligned as you work!


You will learn how to repair a garment of your own (or practice on scrap fabric) and leave being able to repair your own items. You will even get a little kit of take-home supplies for your personal mending projects!


This course welcomes brand-new menders and those with experience. Supplies are provided. Tickets are sliding scale.
