This heavy beast, is a home made electric soil seive.
It is mostly metal. So is quite heavy.
It has bits from this and that ...
The drum, is out of an old washing machine and is now, mostly wire mesh riveted to what's left of the drum.
It has a very powerful electric 240v motor that supplies rotational power via 2 fan belts, which need replacing.
The frame is tubular and welded into what can only be described as arches. Everything is either bolted or welded to the arches.
This is not a gentle tool. It vibrates and rattles. And is not safe around pets or children.
It has sharp edges. It has no safety features to speak of... it is brutal, and needs a lot of repairs to get the best out of it.
I used it for over 2 years without a hiccup. I was supposed to return it to a dear friend, who recently passed away, and his family said they do not want it back...
As I no longer need it, I am offering it, as is, to someone who has a garden project that will find a use for such a tool as this..
It would be a shame to scrap it for its metal value, but if that is what I have to do.. then so be it...
