I have something like two dozen pieces of glass that I've taken out of picture frames I upcycled. The glass is in various sizes, from 4x6in to maybe 10x12. Some of it is fairly new, but some may be from the 1960s or earlier (I'm not sure whether or not this is important, maybe more recent glass is 'safer' in some way, like, say, safety glass used in interior doors). If anyone is looking for a piece of glass I can have a root round and see if I've got a piece to fit.
Or, failing that, if anyone could suggest a place where I could take them for recycling, please, that would be great, as, apparently, even though they're glass, they can't go in the household recycling with the bottles and jam-jars but it seems just wrong to send them to landfill.
