vaccuum for communal hall (Kingsmead)

Desperate to have a go at the much unloved communal hall and stairs (a rather tough 'carpet'). Appearance doesn't matter, but as there are many stairs, a smaller type would be wonderful. The Bissel 'Pet' we used to use was compact and wonderful, but has now given up the ghost. It was perfect for the job, til it died.
We are near Kingsmead but could collect anywhere on a bus route locally.
