Postage stamps and first-day covers (Denham UB9)

A small collection of philatelic items have surfaced as a result of a number of recent family house moves. Just the thing for a budding collector – or even an established one. There are some real curiosities here – from genuine old stamps received by grandparents in years gone by, to more recent ones from my own travels to far-off exotic lands:
