Mamod Traction Engine (broken)

For those who are unfamiliar with this toy,
it is a working steam traction engine, 26cm long and 17cm tall.
It is powered by a burner using methylated spirits, generating steam, and powering a small cylinder to drive the main wheels.

This specimen is approx 55 years old, and hasn't worked for 45 years
after it fell off a shelf and broke the front wheels off (see second photo).
It is also missing the drive belt which runs between the flywheel and driving wheel.

As a consequence, it is certainly in need of some repair work,
and may actually not work at all, or may proove unsafe.

So... is there anyone out there with an enthusiasm for this sort of thing?
