It WORKS, but it makes a heck of a racket! It's got a plastic 'mat' thing in it to keep the washing down away from the lid. It does get wet clothes a lot drier - handy, when it rains every ruddy day.
Was my late Mum's and has been in my garage since she moved in here a decade ago. I'm having a major sort out and it's got to go.
If it's still here by next week, it's going out for the scrappie.
I HATE chucking things out when someone can use them...
