Basketball hoop with net, pole, base and ball (Pannal HG2)

This is a metal basketball pole/hoop with a plastic base that can be filled with water (or sand) to weigh it down.

The height of the hoop can be adjusted, so it should be fine for kids or teens (but perhaps a bit easy for adults).

It used to have a (plastic) back-board which perished over time. But if you're handy with tools it would be fairly straightforward to make a new one (e.g. out of marine plywood) and sandwich it between the hoop and the bracket, holding it in place with the 4 bolts shown in the photo. (You might need longer bolts though.)

Alternatively, use it against a suitable wall if you need something to bounce off.

You can have the basketball as well. And I'll throw in an allen key for adjusting the height.

As you can see, it's a few years old so there's a bit of rust and wear, but it works fine and should provide some entertainment over the summer.

I've dismantled it into 4 pieces for transport.
