On offer today is an older HP inkjet printer.HP C3180, with power and USB connection to PC cables. We do not have the software CD.
Last ditch attempt to send it to a good home before we take it to the e-waste.
This may suit someone with the technical knowledge and patience to get it working with current OS; or perhaps for parts.
Would prefer it went to someone who will take it or its remnants to the e-waste if you take it and are unable to fix/use.
It did work well until a year or so ago, but an upgrade to the computer OS seems to have left it high and dry, due to incompatible drivers. Troubleshooting and attempts to find and download drivers from HP or reputable sites have not worked.
The printer itself also has a cartridge warning light for the colour cartridge and has been a long time since used so not sure if ink has dried up or just empty. I believe there was ink (refill) in at least the black ink cartridge when it stopped working as it had been taken to the repair shop for refills not long before.
We are near Manuka. Drop off may be possible to some locations if you can wait a few days til we are heading in your general direction, anre flexible with times/have a safe, sheltered spot where it could be left and depending on how polite the request.
