I am writing to ask for any support with Oakley Cricket Club Fun Day that my brother in law is hosting on Sunday 30th June.
The event ran last year, which was a great success and looking to do the same again this year. The idea of the event is to bring the local community together and to showcase the cricket club, which has been part of Oakley for over 100 years.
Due to the success of last year’s event, this enabled them to start and support a fantastic women’s team who will be playing on the day this year.
They will be doing a tombola/raffle, and hoping anyone would be able to help donate a prize towards this please?
With any funds raised this will greatly help towards the continued improvement of the club and its facilities, which will allow them to develop their junior section and their new women’s team; hopefully attracting more people into the sport/doing sport, whilst helping to build confidence and team building too.
