My 89-year-old step-mother recently suffered a nasty fall and has fractured her pelvis. The NHS and local social services have all been marvellous and she has been provided with a fair bit of equipment to help her get about the house, etc. However, the wheeled chair we have is clearly intended for indoor use (small wheels, not super sturdy, etc) and what she could really do with is a proper wheelchair so we can take her for walks outside to get a bit of fresh air.
If anyone has one they no longer need, it would be much appreciated. Can collect pretty much any time with a bit of notice.
