The motorised screen was removed from my son's flat and is on offer because although it extends and stops ok, it can no longer be retracted automatically. The problem was discovered when moving flats as the screen had mostly just been left it extended, so the screen itself seems fine, but can only be retracted manually. Having spoken to Sapphire it seems likely that a plastic part has broken, which the company is no longer able to supply. If I had a use for it myself I might see if the problem was something I could repair myself, but I have no idea it that is practical.
The screen is complete with working infra-red remote control (i.e. it extends and stops using the remote control but doesn't retract. The motor seems fine as you can hear it working when you select retract) and wall or ceiling fixings. It is quite heavy and, most importantly, very big - about 235cm/93 inches in length. If you're interested, say when you might be able to collect it from Jesmond.
A large Sapphire MS-92 motorised projection screen. (Jesmond NE2)
