Electronic water 'softener' (Cholsey/Wallingford OX10)

The water is not softened in the chemical sense, but ionically conditioned so that it will not precipitate out. I've used these for years and they work well - although this is a make I've not tried.
The gadget needs a 12V, 500mA mains adaptor and the four sockets are for 'aerial' cables that will have to be made up from 'banana' plugs and ordinary single-core insulated wire. You will guess that this device will suit an electrically competent handyman.
Sorry; no instructions* or guarantee that it will work but you could save yourself £100 and further expense dealing with limescale in pipes and taps.
*I can describe how to use it.
