DC14 or DC33 to repair these (Leadburn EH46)

I bought the DC33 off gumtree for £40, sold as working. The brushbar doesn’t turn so it doesn’t pick up the stuff off the floor. Emailed immediately and was told it’s working, took it to the repair shop and emailed the quote and got fobbed off. Karma to him. I’ve now 2 broken dysons and no vacumn. Stupidly I did not check it worked first. The DC14 needs a replacement motor(hence why I though another working 2nd hand would be easier) so whichever I can find first to repair and the other can then get passed on as spares.
