Request: Wood (Comiston EH10) Hi … I’m needing to build new allotment beds. The old recycled wood I had used has now rotten away. Long length is ideal, but more than happy to patch lengths together. Much appreciated.

Request: Battery drill (Comiston EH10) I’ve an allotment & need to make new bed frames as they have now tuned to compost. It’s more sturdy with screws than nails so looking for a drill. The neighbour who had one to borrow as since left.

Request: Outdoor ceramic pots (Comiston EH10) Hi - I’ve grown too many seeds and run out of space. Desperately looking for outdoor big pots. They cost too much to buy and I think there’s enough plastic in the ground to last a lifetime, so I don’t want to buy them as they break quickly, then into landfill. Thanks

Free: Lampshade (Bonaly EH13) Expired New and unused - kindly freely donated off Freegle (🙏) but it doesn’t suit the homemade lamp so passing it on again.

Free: 3 seater + 2 seater leather couch (Leadburn EH46) Expired Cream leather lounge suite. A few cracks in the leather my the head. Both have fire labels and lots of life left in them. Only passing on as I’ve inherited a new suite from the owner who I inherited these from. Much go ASAP as can’t store both suites!!

Free: 3 seater + 2 seater leather couch (Leadburn EH46) Expired 2 leather couches, both with fire labels. Plenty life left in them. Only passing on as I’ve inherited a new suite. There are fine cracks on the head rest part, but full cushions and really comfy. Must go ASAP as I’ll be storing 2 longe suites.

Request: Brompton or fold up bike (Leadburn EH46) Expired I live to far away to cycle into Edinburgh and can’t put my bike on the bus & peddle on. I had no option but to get a 2nd hand car, put the bike in the boot, park up on the outskirts & peddle on. I’m wrecking my bike, car and back and miss cycling so much. I’m not looking forward to winter struggling with a heavy steel bike in the rain. I am hoping there’s a bike lying unused in a shed that can get a 2nd life. It would be wonderful as I’ll get 3 options - bike on bus/peddle home one way during daylight/bike in car for nights when no bus service without wrecking everything. It’s an big ask I know, but I also know lots of good old bikes untouched for years. Many thanks ...

Request: Freezer (Leadburn EH46) Expired Hi ... I stored some berries in a friends empty freezer while moving. The new rental freezer is much smaller so it’s full up. My friend’s freezer is now sold. I’m desperately looking for a counter top/small freezer which I need by mid Oct before the new owners move in. I don’t want to throw out a a years hard work from an allotment. Thanks. 🤞

Request: DC14 or DC34 (Leadburn EH46) Expired See my other post. I’ve 2 broken dysons. I bought another sold as working - the roller doesn’t work and as I paid £40 I’m need to try a fix it off an old machine for repairs. Stupidly I did not check it worked first. The DC14 needs a replacement motor so whichever I can find first to repair and the other can then get passed on as spares.

Request: DC33 cleanerhead DC14 (Leadburn EH46) Expired Hi - I paid £40 for this as a working machine. Stupidly I didn’t check it first. The brush bar doesn’t work so it picks up nothing from the floor. I’m looking for an old one to try and repair it. Problem is I’ve now got 2 broken dysons and can’t clean the floor. The DC14 needs another motor.

Request: DC14 or DC33 to repair these (Leadburn EH46) Expired I bought the DC33 off gumtree for £40, sold as working. The brushbar doesn’t turn so it doesn’t pick up the stuff off the floor. Emailed immediately and was told it’s working, took it to the repair shop and emailed the quote and got fobbed off. Karma to him. I’ve now 2 broken dysons and no vacumn. Stupidly I did not check it worked first.
