Functioning Laptop (no frills) (Old Walcot SN3)

If anyone happens to have a functioning laptop, capable of running Windows 10 or similar, I'd like to know. I'm able to do basic update tasks like replacing a SATA hard disk or adding memory, so even it it's a bit under-specced I can do something with it. Just wondering if I can make-do-and-mend with what I have rather than buying something brand new as I mainly use it for browsing the document editing. Thanks.
