Workshop vice, polishing wheel, hand held planer etc, etc. (Appleby-in-Westmorland CA16)

Have really got into woodwork and the more i attempt the more i realise i need quite specific tools. If anyone has any redundant but servicable workshop tools, please let me know. As a newly retired woman most items are beyond my state pension to buy new. Cannot take anything huge as space limited. Wish list includes router, metal polisher and benchtop tiltable jigsaw but will consider anything. A vice is top of list. I restore, repurpose and recycle but would like to branch out more into redesigning.
