White fur cape (North Hillingdon UB10)

This is very old but in good condition. Belonged to an elderly aunt. I reckon it must be 80 years old.
I don't know what type of fur this cape is made from. It has a silk lining. Personally I am very much against animal fur being used for clothing so don't want this in my possession.
