This is a JVC DR-E51LBK hi-fi system. I think it was bought in the late 1980s. It has been sitting unused and gathering dust for at least 20 years so time for it to go - to the tip if nobody wants it.

I powered it up to see if it is still working. The tuner, CD player and cassette decks seem to be reasonably OK although I think that the cassette heads could do with a clean. The turntable didn't want to turn at anything like a correct speed so will need a bit of an overhaul. This could be an interesting project if anybody wants to take it on. NOTE: there are no speakers.
