Free: Sparkling Wine Bottles Corks Cages (Hitchin SG5) I have 30 sparkling wine bottles, mostly green glass but a few clear glass. My grape vine, from which I made my sparkling wine, is no more so I won't need the bottles again. There are also 24 muselets (cages) and a load of plastic stoppers. Feel free to take some or all, although an offer to take everything would be preferred.

Free: Plastic covered 6" hooks (Hitchin SG5) I have 14 large hooks to give away. They are 6 inches (15cm) long. Take some or all of them.

Free: Faulty Lenovo Laptop (Hitchin SG5) Gifted It works fine - as long as it remains plugged in. Remove the power and it crashes immediately. I don't think it's a battery problem, more likely an internal fault. Details are: - Lenovo G710 - Intel Core i7-4702MQ CPU - 8GB RAM - 1TB HDD - Windows 10 Home Edition V1803 - 17.3" screen, 1600x900 It has been reset and is ready for a clean setup.

Free: Old Computing Bits (Hitchin SG5) Expired Having a bit of a clearout and found a box of computer stuff which might have come in useful but never did. The lot comprises: - DDR 256M memory card - Sound Blaster sound card - Internal CD-ROM drive - Internal floppy disk drive (I think) - Internal 80GB 3.5 hard disk drive - Buffalo Air Station router - various cables and fixings I would like all to go together but if nobody wants the whole lot I would be willing to split them.

Free: Yew Trees (Hitchin SG5) Gifted 3 small yews, the largest (see picture) is about 90cm tall. These are self-sown plants which I didn't have the heart to put in my garden waste bin. They originate from a mature slow-growing yew which got to about 2 metres after 20-25 years. One was dug up very recently, the others have been in pots in earth and are already putting out new roots. They will be kept with their roots in water either until collected or until they end up with the garden waste. I should point out that yews are poisonous, both leaves and seeds, so probably not a good idea around pets and small children. Birds seem to like the small red fruits which appear in the autumn but I assume that they manage to get rid of the seeds before they suffer any ill effects!

Free: Toshiba Netbook NB200 (Hitchin SG5) Gifted A Toshiba NB-200-13L Netbook running Windows XP. It has been reset and after boot goes to Windows set-up. Specifications: - Atom N280 1.66GHz processor - 1GB RAM - 160GB HDD - 10.1 inch screen, 1024 x 600 pixels Includes charger, mouse and manuals. Bought in January 2010 and hardly used during the last 10 years. By modern standards this is abysmally slow and Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft. Please say why you would like it. Note that this is being offered under the Fair Offer Policy so do not expect to hear from me until tomorrow (Wednesday) morning.

Free: JVC Hi-Fi (Hitchin SG5) Gifted This is a JVC DR-E51LBK hi-fi system. I think it was bought in the late 1980s. It has been sitting unused and gathering dust for at least 20 years so time for it to go - to the tip if nobody wants it. I powered it up to see if it is still working. The tuner, CD player and cassette decks seem to be reasonably OK although I think that the cassette heads could do with a clean. The turntable didn't want to turn at anything like a correct speed so will need a bit of an overhaul. This could be an interesting project if anybody wants to take it on. NOTE: there are no speakers. Dimensons: 49cm high, 29cm deep, 36cm wide Includes AM loop aerial, remote control (no batteries), instruction books.

Free: Waterproof bedding covers (Hitchin SG5) Gifted Waterproof cover for a single mattress, one for a single duvet with zip fastening, and one for a pillow also zipped. In good clean condition with no splits or tears. Hardly ever used.

Free: Underbed Storage Boxes (Hitchin SG5) Gifted 2 storage boxes with casters for easy moving. These are home-made and were sized to fit under a sofa bed. Width 63.5cm, depth 69cm, height 21cm.

Free: Light Switches and Bulbs (Hitchin SG5) Expired 6 light switches (5 x 1 gang, 1 x 2 gang). These are probably original to our house (built 1971). All fully working. 3 packs of bayonet fitting light bulbs, each pack has 2 bulbs, 1 x 9w, 500 lumen and 1 x 11W, 650 lumen. Found whilst clearing an elderly relative's house. Happy to split if you only want some.

Free: Iomega 500GB Desktop Hard Disk (Hitchin SG5) Gifted Model number MDHD500-UE. Complete with power supply and USB connector. Fully working and reformatted.

Free: Laptop for spares (Hitchin SG5) Gifted Acer Aspire A315-56 useable for spares only. Several keys on the keyboard are not working and I have removed the hard disk - so no operating system. Battery, motherboard, power supply, case and screen all good although there is a broken bit on the case near the ethernet port.
