Toaster for repair (Marton)

Black Russell Hobbs black 2 slice toaster.
Was working until yesterday - the lever to lower the bread has stuck.
A bit of discolouration / wear on the top (see photo).
Not sure whether this can be repaired or not.
Wondered if there was anyone out there who undertook repairs before keeping/passing things on?
If someone is interested I will give this a clean - otherwise it is waiting to go for small electrical recycling.
If responding please state when you can collect.
