To the best of my knowledge, this Brother XL-3600 sewing machine is in working condition (mechanically speaking), although the chassis has been damaged and is buckled. We were never able to determine how this happened, but I do suspect it might have occurred during servicing, as the issues began afterward.
As a result, the needle marginally colides with the plate. If someone knows how to fix this, great - otherwise I'll give it another day and it will unfortunately have to make its way to the tip!
I thought this might be of interest to someone who repairs sewing machines or could use it for spare parts.
All accessories and the manual shown in the pictures are included. If you only need the pedal or cover, I’d be happy to separate it.
