This sheepskin/fleece is in good shape. I've had it for three years - I bought it for grand baby, but DIL didn't want. It has not been exposed to smoke of any kind. There is no mold on or in it. The leather is still supple. There has never been any urine or feces of any kind on it. There IS some cat hair an dog hair on it. It was never used as a cat/dog bed, but I have several of both. I live in a sea of cat and dog hair - it just gets everywhere.

The wool on this fleece is almost coarse - it was that way when I bought it from my organic/regenerative farmer friends. It does have some dirty spots on it and should probably be washed. Washing sheep skins is a total pain in the everything. It's doable, but it's a lot of work, which is why I'm offering it up for grabs rather than setting to that task.

It would make a great topper for a dog bed or could be used for leather work?
