Free: IKEA Queen size bed frame (Palo Alto, near Cal Ave) Gifted Frame was disassembled today. It's in very good condition. I have no recollection as to what style it is, but it's solid wood - no pressboard - and all parts are present and accounted for. Preference goes to someone who can pick it up today or tomorrow. I have no where to store it so it is, as of an hour ago, sitting out in front of my house under the eaves.

Free: Sheepskin/Fleece (Palo Alto, near Cal Ave) Gifted This sheepskin/fleece is in good shape. I've had it for three years - I bought it for grand baby, but DIL didn't want. It has not been exposed to smoke of any kind. There is no mold on or in it. The leather is still supple. There has never been any urine or feces of any kind on it. There IS some cat hair an dog hair on it. It was never used as a cat/dog bed, but I have several of both. I live in a sea of cat and dog hair - it just gets everywhere. The wool on this fleece is almost coarse - it was that way when I bought it from my organic/regenerative farmer friends. It does have some dirty spots on it and should probably be washed. Washing sheep skins is a total pain in the everything. It's doable, but it's a lot of work, which is why I'm offering it up for grabs rather than setting to that task. It would make a great topper for a dog bed or could be used for leather work?

Free: Phillips Speakers (Palo Alto, near Cal Ave) Gifted My husband picked these up on the side of the road five years ago. They had a free sign on them. He never got around to try them out and see if they work. If someone wants to give it a go, great. If not, into ewaste they go.

Free: Handlebar Bag (Palo Alto, near Cal Ave) Gifted Brand new. In perfect condition. My husband is very fussy about his handlebar bags. It wasn't exactly what he was wanting. It seems like a great bag to me - I have baskets on my bikes so I won't use it.

Free: Artist made ceramic lamp bases (Palo Alto, near Cal Ave) Gifted Base on the left is 12" tall? These were gifted to me by a friend who is professional ceramicist. They are beautiful, but they are both incomplete. The base on the left needs all the metal and wiring parts added to it to make it functional. The base on the right was an oops. Along with needing the metal and wiring parts, she neglected to cut a hole in the base. It's very hard to do this after a piece has been fired. My husband put a lot of work into cutting a hole. He got about half way through before I decided we can't spare the time. I'm thinking these pieces could be smashed and used for mosaics?

Free: Woven Tote Basket (Palo Alto, near Cal Ave) Gifted I have many of the basket made with same materials - some kind of African grass - with handles. I love them and use them all the time. I thought I'd try similar basket/tote with long straps. I never use it so it's now up for grabs. It's in great shape.

Free: Queen Size Tri-Fold (Palo Alto, near Cal Ave) Gifted This futon/foam tri-fold never had anyone sleep directly on it. It was underneath another 8" thick wool futon/mattress. It is in good shape. No odors, no mold, no exposure to smoke of any kind. We do have cats. There are a few random cat hairs on the cover. But a cat never slept on it. PLEASE NOTE: I do NOT necessarily gift item to first person who asks for it. I don't expect much interest in this item, but it will not be available for pick up until tomorrow (the 31st) or after.

I will keep this post open until 1pm Sunday, at which point I will draw a name out of a hat. Pick up Sunday afternoon/evening or anytime next week is fine.

Free: Bricks (Palo Alto, near Cal Ave) Gifted Hundreds of them. Intact with all mortar removed. I don't know how many there are, but that stack is four bricks thick. I will only consider gifting them to someone who is going to 1) take ALL of the bricks and 2) cart them out of my backyard without my help. If nobody wants to do that, I'll just keep them.

Free: Music While Swimming (Palo Alto, near Cal Ave) Gifted I couldn't figure out how to transfer my play list onto this device so it has never been used. It's an MP3 player that is designed to be water proof so you can listen to music while you swim. It was inexpensive - $90? I assume it is in perfect working order.

Free: Tulipiere (Palo Alto, near Cal Ave) Gifted This is a beautiful, flower arranging vessel called a tulipiere. This vessel is hand made by master ceramicist Clara Lanyi. Free: Timber Bamboo (Palo Alto, near Cal Ave) Gifted I just transplanted these shoots into a container so they don't have much in the way of root yet, but I think I have got them at just the right time to make for an excellent plant. This is a bright green bamboo that, in the right conditions, grown fifteen feet high with stalks two inches in diameter. It is a runner rather than a clumper, but it is very slow growing so keeping it in bounds is fairly easy.

Free: Hardy Landscaping Plant (Palo Alto, near Cal Ave) Expired Shrub. grows 3' X 3'? Covered in small, decorative red berries in the fall. Plant has been cut way back in order to facilitate removal, but it will be a big bush this year. I don't know the name of this shrub, but it's very common in landscaping because it's not invasive, it's very hardy, the foliage is year round, leafy but not impenetrable and the berries are abundant, pretty and are innocuous.

Free: Geranium, salmon pink flowers (Palo Alto, near Cal Ave) Gifted I think this may be a species geranium, which means it's foliage and flowers (small, salmon pink) are ordinary. But it is very hardy.

It's not high definition, but the resolution has always been great by my standards. I'm putting it up for grabs because I hardly ever watch TV and I'd prefer to use the space for something else.
