Fully flexible reading lamp, in fancy 'antique brass'. It's perfect for getting in and out of bed, or getting dressed by, but I don't recommend it as a desk lamp, or for really sustained reading sessions. The reason is that when it's been on for a while it gives the odd annoying flicker. We think (but can't guarantee) that this is because we've put an LED bulb in, for obvious reasons. But as I said, ideal if you use your bedside lamp for short periods, like getting up in the night for a loo visit, or to admire the moonlight: you can angle it to cause minimum disturbance to your co-sleeper(s). Or if you WANT to wake them up, you can shine it up the wall and light the whole room.
Base diameter is 16.5 cm. Height when positioned at a modest droop is about 40cm.
