Knitting wool (Oswestry SY11)
This is probably for a knitter with a specialist sort of interest in wools. I don't know its history (helping a friend clearing out) so took some into Oswestry's Ewe & Ply to ask what they thought it was. They think it is a mixture of Shetland wool and dog hair, and that the dog is the more yellow part of the yarn (a bit more yellow than these photos make it look). Some is in balls, some in hanks. It might - or might not - all be from the same batch. Ewe & Ply suggested trying it on 6mm needles. There is 1.3 kg of it altogether.
