OFFERED: A vintage (70s/80s?) Ewbank Classic Manual Carpet Sweeper, finished in maroon plastic, with a chrome handle, which can be dissembled for storage.
Most effective for brushing up crumbs and fluff from short-pile carpets, not so great on long-pile or smooth surfaces.
The grey plastic lever just releases the handle for use, otherwise it is locked in a vertical position.
You empty it into your bin by just pulling the black panels open from underneath.
My aunt had this one from new, but I remember my grandparents had a much earlier version (metal, I think) when I was a kid...
I have cleaned it up as best I can.
