The large blue one is about 38cm x 38cm, not including the red strips, the black one is 20cm x 18cm, and the flower one is about 15cm in diameter, and is the onlky one decorated on both sides.

OFFERED: A Travelwey Travel Alarm Clock, made from black plastic with a big white button on the top to activate the light or snooze functions. It has a 2-pin plug on it for mains use abroad (you will need an adaptor to use it in a UK 3-pin socket), or it can be used in battery mode, if 2 x AAA batteries are fitted (not supplied). Seems to work okay. I can vouch for the alarm function sounding like an ocean liner ship's horn when the volume is turned up!

In recent years it has been rolled up on top of a wardrobe, and prior to that it was under a heavy dining table, the feet of which appear to have given it "stretch marks" in places. The creases should disappear once it has been laid flat again for a while. Otherwise in good condition, from a pet-free, smoke-free and child-free home.

OFFERED: I have up to two tins of opened 1.25L Homebase Emulsion in Burnt Sienna, which is like a darker terracotta colour. One tin is pretty much full, and the other has about 600ml left in it. I gave both a reasonable stir before photographing them, and seem to have managed to poke a small hole in the side of the more used one! I only noticed it when I had closed both tins again and set them to one side. I have stuck some duct tape over the hole which should plug the (small) leak for now. If you choose to take both, I suggest you use this one up first... Okay if you only want to take the intact tin.

OFFERED: A Breville food processor with all its accessories in a pull-out drawer. It works fine and has start/stop and pulse functions. The stopper has a long crack in it but still works fine as a stopper. Wouldn't use it as a jug though if I were you... There is a rubber seal around the lid part which tends to come off when used. Easy to put back though, albeit a little bit fiddly.

OFFERED: I have no idea why I have kept these so long, but I have three of my old German lesson school books (1974/75), complete with pencil margin notes of either the odd translation of a word or phrase, or just a clarification of what was going on in the plot. Irrungen, Wirrungen, by Theodor Fontane Und Sagte Kein Einziges Wort, by Heinrich Boll Tonio Kroger, by Thomas Mann All are rather worn, from being carried around in a school briefcase for months, and the spine of Tonio Kroger has been repaired with sticky tape. The pages of the Heinrich Boll book are quite yellowed around the edges. (I don't THINK I wrote anything rude in them...) May be of interest to anyone studying German, or who is just a Germanophile!

Vintage Ewbank Classic Manual Carpet Sweeper - maroon (Primrose LA1)

OFFERED: A vintage (70s/80s?) Ewbank Classic Manual Carpet Sweeper, finished in maroon plastic, with a chrome handle, which can be dissembled for storage. Most effective for brushing up crumbs and fluff from short-pile carpets, not so great on long-pile or smooth surfaces. The grey plastic lever just releases the handle for use, otherwise it is locked in a vertical position. You empty it into your bin by just pulling the black panels open from underneath. My aunt had this one from new, but I remember my grandparents had a much earlier version (metal, I think) when I was a kid... I have cleaned it up as best I can.

OFFERED: An Easylife HDL-210A Bed Cleaner, a sort of mini vibrating vacuum cleaner for loosening bed bugs, dust and mites, with a little UV light (don't look at it!) that allegedly sterilises as it goes. The device has a small removable pot in which anything sucked up is deposited, which is easily removed for emptying. This was purchased by an elderly aunt of mine, though I doubt it ever got used very much! Her house was spotless though...

OFFERED: Two items of turquoise/green clothing previously used as work clothes by my late aunt, who was a passionate gardener! The fleece is a polyester one from M&S. It is in pretty good condition, the zip works fine, though the fabric is probably a bit thinner than it originally was. The rainjacket is from C&A (which dates it!), the zip works fine, but the lining is wearing thin in places and it has quite a lot of marks on it, as it was probably used for decorating, as well as gardening. The jacket label says Size 14. I have no idea why the fleece label says 22, but if one fits you, so will the other! Both have been put through the washing machine so are "clean", if not stainless! Perfect for mucking about in if you have a garden or an allotment. Maybe some of my late aunt's gardening skills will rub off on you...

OFFERED: An unopened bag of Morrisons Pitted Prunes (500g). Sell by date was July 2024, so about 6 months over, but my experience of dried fruit products is that they are usually fine for quite a long time after the date on the pack, especially if unopened.
