Landscapes Calendar 2002 - Lovely photos for framing? (Primrose LA1)
Some years ago I was moved to buy any cheap calendars I came across that featured interesting photographs, thinking I might frame them as eye-catching wall art. The theme of this one is "Landscapes", with photos taken across Europe and South America, and I found the photos quite fascinating. I did frame the odd one or two of this calendar, and all of the pictures are now loose pages, so it won't hang on the wall anymore. If it did, you could have reused it in 2030 when all the dates will be right again! Each picture measures 52 cm x 35 cm, not counting any of the white border.

I have an assortment of crayons and coloured pencils looking for a new creative outlet. Some will be a few decades old, so it is high time some budding young artist had a go at using them up...

National Geographic Calendar 2011 - South America (Primrose LA1)
Some years ago I was moved to buy any cheap calendars I came across that featured interesting photographs, thinking I might frame them as eye-catching wall art. The theme of this one is "South America From The Air", and I found the photos quite fascinating. I never got around to framing any of the photos in this calendar, mostly because I didn't have frames that would accommodate the pictures. Perhaps you do? Or perhaps you would just appreciate the photos for what they are in calendar form. If you wait long enough, the dates will match up again - in 2033, by my reckoning! Each photo measures 36 cm x 43 cm, though the bottom-left corners show National Geographic lettering.

2 x Sailing Prints (50cm x 40cm) - 1950s - 1970s? (Primrose LA1)
I bought these two pictures from a second-hand shop in Southend-on-Sea back in the early 1980s, mainly because I wanted the two black frames they were in at the time! Each print measures 50cm x 40cm. There is a very slight yellowing to the edges of each picture, but they would look lovely in nice new frames. I did display them in my home for quite a long time, but it feels time to pass them on now, so hopefully they may appeal to either a sailing or photography enthusiast. I don't know the vintage, but they looked quite old back in the 1980s, or where the photos were taken. One of the boats has the initials R.C.Y.C. visible at the back, which could be either the Royal Cornish Yacht Club or the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club, based in Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex. I would guess the latter, given where I bought them, but who knows?

Vintage ceramic bed-pan - novelty plant-pot container? (Primrose LA1)
Gifted
I bought this odd-looking thing about forty years ago, when bedpans and chamber pots seemed like trendy things to stand a house-plant in... It is white-glazed ceramic, and is about 35cm long and about 18cm wide. I have no idea how old it actually is, but it has a distinctly hand-made, slightly lumpy appearance in my opinion, and certainly no manufacturer's stamp. I want to emphasise that during my ownership the ONLY thing it has had in it was an occasional house-plant! I am therefore unable to vouch for its suitability for its original intended function...

I x metre Strip of Black Lace Fabric (Door Width) (Primrose LA1)
This decorative black trim piece came with the magnetised fly-screen we got for our back door during the summer, but we really won't use it. Can anyone put it to some creative use? It is made of some cheap man-made material, and I suggest you keep it away from any open flames...!

Wooden Chopstick sets x 4 (Primrose LA1)
Gifted
I have four pairs of simple wooden chopsticks, still in their original packaging. I think these were from a Chinese restaurant some time ago, which were never used at the time and in our house never will be! Any takers?

Ceramic table lamp with pleated white shade - 40cm high (Primrose LA1)
Gifted
Can anyone make use of this black ceramic table lamp base with a white pleated shade? The base has a flowing moulded design that goes all the way around it. The whole thing stands about 40cm high. and I'll throw in a low-energy lightbulb as well! There is a small chip to one side of the base (about 0.5cm) but you can easily position the lamp so the chip faces the wall and can't be seen.

Set of old-style coloured Christmas lights in plastic box (Primrose LA1)
Gifted
I am sure someone out there can make use of this set of coloured Christmas lights... They are quite a few years old, and have tiny filament bulbs (NOT the modern LED type), so they can get quite warm if left on for a long time, so maybe the "constant" setting may not be advisable... 2 or 3 of the bulbs no longer work, but those do not interfere with the rest of them, which cast a very warm glow. The green box has a setting switch so you can change the way the lights come on and off, with various flashing options to choose from, some more relaxing than others! The string of lights is about 4 metres long, not including the bit without bulbs, where the control box is.

Unused Medical Supplies - Dressings/Gloves/Souture Extractor (Primrose LA1)
Gifted
I have these unused medical supplies to offer, which were left over from my late aunt's stocks, provided by the District Nurses who were attending to her. I have 2 x 30cm sterile dressings (Expiry Date September 2025), 2 x packs of sterile Nitrile Gloves (Expiry Date February 2026) and 1 x Suture Extractor (Expiry Date September 2027). All packs are unopened, and all have been stored together in a plastic bag for the last year, as I forgot I still had them in the house. Can anyone make use of these?

Long tubular glass vase - NO STAND (Primrose LA1)
Gifted
I have this long tubular glass vase looking for a new home. It is 30 cm long x 3 cm diameter. It must have once had a stand, but it is long gone and I don't know what it would have looked like. The vase won't stand up on its own so it does need a stand of some kind. Perhaps you have something around your house that might work, or if you are really handy perhaps you could make something??

Cotton Kitchen Apron - Blue Teapot/Teacup motif (Primrose LA1)
Gifted
I have this white cotton Kitchen Apron to offer, with a blue-checked trim and a blue teapot and teacup motif on the front. It was well-used by my late aunt, and has been thoroughly washed, though not ironed. One or two light marks have not come out, but maybe your laundry liquid/powder might be more effective...

Free:
Portuguese Kitchen Apron - Fruta Pao (Primrose LA1)
Gifted
I have this creamy-white cotton Portuguese Kitchen Apron with a label saying Fruta Pao, which translates as "breadfruit". This might be the manufacturer name, as the motif on the front looks more like a lemon to me! It was well-used by my late aunt, and has been thoroughly washed, though not ironed. One or two light marks have not come out, but maybe your laundry liquid/powder might be more effective...

Spanish Porcelain Figurine (NAO) - repaired neck (Primrose LA1)
Gifted
I have this pretty Spanish figurine of a young girl holding a duck, both in need of a new home. She is about 11" tall. Sadly, this figurine had a mishap before I could get her to a charity shop, resulting in a premature beheading and a few very small chips to her skirt, which are barely noticeable unless you have particularly sharp eyesight. Her head has been superglued back on, and I don't think you would guess unless it was pointed out. Hopefully someone out there can rehome this recently distressed damsel...

Vintage Quality Street tin (1950s/1960s) (Primrose LA1)
Gifted
Would anyone like to make use of this pretty old Quality Street tin, dating from at least the 1960s, possibly the 1950s? It has been well-used in its time but still has some useful life left in it, perhaps as a cake tin/biscuit tin, or for storing various bits and bobs. There are a lot of marks, scratches, rust spots and discolouration to every part of it, as well as a sizeable dent to one part of the rim, but even so, it still has a certain vintage charm... (Or is that just me?)

Free:
4 x Large Tins - useful if baking, or general storage (Primrose LA1)
Gifted
I have four large tins available, which could be useful to someone who enjoys home baking, or just for general storage. There are two shortbread tins (8" x 9" x 2"), one Body Shop tin of similar dimensions, and a Quality Street tin (9" x 9" x 3"). The tins themselves are all in good condition, though the lids have been used as worktrays at some point, so have some dents and most have some dried superglue on the inside. I have scoured them as much as I can, so whatever's left is probably staying put!

Seagrass Basket 12" x 7" x7.5" (Primrose LA1)
Gifted
I have this quite old seagrass basket in need of a new home. It is 12" long x 7" wide (measured at the top) x 7.5" high. It is slightly fraying in places but otherwise intact, and has a good number of years' life left in it. Some minor staining to its underside.

Free:
Two half-coconut shells (Primrose LA1)
Gifted
I have these two half-coconut shells available. They were filled with ice cream until recently, but that is NOT included! Perfect for adapting into winter hanging feeders for garden birds, with the addition of a few drill-holes, bits of string and some solidified suet/fat, or just for keeping small knick-knacks in.

Free:
Large Seagrass basket with wooden handles (Primrose LA1)
Gifted
I have this large seagrass basket if someone can make good use of it? It has a metal wire framework and wooden handles, but the bulk of it is seagrass, and though quite old now it still feels pretty sturdy. The seagrass wrapping around one of the wooden handles has started to unravel a bit, but I am sure it is fixable. It measures 43 cm long x 32 cm wide x 19 cm high (excluding handles).

Free:
White glazed plantpot-holder - small chip to rim (Primrose LA1)
Gifted
I have this attractive glazed white plantpot-holder in need of a new home. It is 14cm in diameter and 11cm tall, with a ribbon-like relief moulding around about three-quarters of it. There are a few small chips around the base, and one on the rim, but these would be barely noticeable when the plantpot-holder is in use.

Free:
Portuguese Glazed Flower Pot with Two Saucers (Primrose LA1)
Gifted
I have this lovely Portuguese Glazed Flower Pot with two Saucers in need of a new home. I think they were bought in the 1980s sometime (possibly 1990s...). The glaze on the inside of the pot (and to a lesser extent the white uppers of the two saucers) appear somewhet "crazed", but I think they should still usable without an inner plastic pot, but it's up to you. The pot is 12cm diameter and 10cm tall. One saucer matches the pot, while the spare saucer matched a similar pot long since broken.

Free:
Old wooden cocktail sticks - maybe x 150 (Primrose LA1)
Gifted
I have these quite old wooden cocktail sticks which I will never use - perhaps you will? The cylindrical pack passes the sniff test, so are "probably" okay for food use. The two squarer containers have clearly been stored somewhere a bit damper, so their contents smell a bit musty, in my opinion. Maybe they could be part of a craft project...?

Free:
Box of half-tiles and small tiles - white and grey (Primrose LA1)
Expired
I have a box of old tiles and part-tiles that may still be of use to someone. There are four intact 4" square pale grey tiles, one 6" square white tile (with a chipped corner), and the rest were once 12" x 8" ridged white tiles but are mostly offcuts about 12" x 4", or smaller.
