The History of the Great European War. Antiquarian Books (Chesham Newtown HP5)

Ten volumes of this collectible series of books, charting the causes and effects of the Great European War, written by W Stanley Macbean Knight.

The forward in Volume 1, penned by the author is dated September 1914.

The books include maps/illustrations/photos, some in colour. They were previously valued at £7.50 per book (written inside each book in pencil).

They are old but not falling apart. The condition of each volume varies. Most I would grade as “Good to Fair” especially for their age.

They are hardbacked, so collection in person from the HP5 area of Chesham would be advisable.

They would make a great addition to any antiquarian book lovers collection. A must for anyone who is interested in war memorabilia and history.
