Free: The Prisoner series (Chesham HP5) Promised Small bundle of Prisoner magazines/pin badges/comic style story books/map of the village includes “The making of the Prisoner”. Anyone who was intrigued to follow this series in the 70’s (?) will enjoy browsing through these magazines and comic style books. Free: Note paper and envelopes. (Chesham HP5) Withdrawn This fun style “pop-up” note paper has a everso slightly suggestive edge to it, and would be perfect for a little romantic note to that special person in your life! The design features a young, short brown haired lady, in a flimsy white nightdress, just waking up and stretching her arms above her head. This part of the note paper can be folded down so that when the paper is opened, she “pops up”. It’s meant to be a fun writing set, her cat is curled up at the bottom of the bed and the envelopes match the paper with three pillows along the edge. The seal on the envelope may not be very sticky any more as they have been in storage for a while, but can be stuck down with a Pritt stick or similar. I have three sets available and will separate them if more than one person is interested in them. I do not know how many pieces of paper/envelopes are in each set, it’s a bit “pot luck”!

Free: Guinness Fun Hat St Patrick’s Day Black/White plush fabric (Chesham HP5) Gifted Great fun hat for the Guinness lover! Good as a fancy dress item or party/St Patrick’s day celebrations. Has four large black and white plush/velvety fabric pint glasses around the as main part of the hat with a narrow 5cm black brim. 27cm tall, comfy to wear, one size. Reasonably good condition, not worn very much. Collection only.

Free: Bundle of sheet music and music books (Chesham HP5) Gifted This is a collection of various different pieces of sheet music, some from the “old days” like Bittersweet by Noël Coward along with Meat Loaf “I would do anything for love” There are music books by Donovan, a bumper book entitled “100 super hits of the 70s”, Paul Simon’s song books and a variety of other pieces of sheet music. Great for anybody who plays piano or guitar to enhance their repertoire. Collection only.

Lord of the Rings (Chesham HP5) Gifted Fascinating DVD and mini book featuring pictures, drawings and text relating to the creation of the character Gollum in the Lord of the Rings series of films.It shows how the creature Gollum was developed for the films and the ideas of those who created him. Possibly collectable for someone who has an interest in film making/creature creation or someone who enjoys this series of films.

Free: Mini/tiny battery operated fairy lights on a wire. (Chesham HP5) Gifted These tiny, delicate, wired fairy lights are attached to a plastic cork which contains the battery and on/off switch. They are designed for use inside your favourite bottles to light them up and make them look pretty. They can be used around picture frames, in drinking glasses, as decorations in a cabinet or great for use at a wedding or party. There are 7 altogether, 1 of which needs a battery change as the lights are only dim. Batteries (flat disc style) are easy to source and change.

Free: Square canvas Guitar print. Blue/black on white background (Chesham HP5) Gifted Measuring 20cm x 20cm x 1cm, this interesting guitar “collage style” print showing several different types of guitar, with one prominent blue guitar in the foreground, would be an interesting addition to any budding guitar player’s collection. The image is printed on strong canvas and the frame is well made in wood, each piece being securely stapled together, with a hanging hook on the back.

Hinged lid (Chesham HP5) Gifted This light beach coloured wooden photo box has five frames (one on each side and one on the top) for your special photos, and storage space inside for any extras. Each frame is 97mm x 97mm and photos can be easily changed to give variety. It is well made and has a hinge lid. Designed to be freestanding, it is 130mm high and would make an attractive addition to any room.

Free: Old style Mini CD/Radio/MP3/USB player (Chesham HP5) Gifted Can anyone use a CD player (as above) which has two speakers that can be sited a short distance away from the main unit to save it going to the charity shop or land fill? Could be useful in a classroom or in a child bedroom or just to play your old collection of CDs on! 😂 Stylish black look - needs a little TLC but in good condition, doesn’t take up very much room, CDs play well and has good volume. Collection only.

Free: The History of the Great European War. Antiquarian Books (Chesham Newtown HP5) Gifted Ten volumes of this collectible series of books, charting the causes and effects of the Great European War, written by W Stanley Macbean Knight. The forward in Volume 1, penned by the author is dated September 1914. The books include maps/illustrations/photos, some in colour. They were previously valued at £7.50 per book (written inside each book in pencil). They are old but not falling apart. The condition of each volume varies. Most I would grade as “Good to Fair” especially for their age. They are hardbacked, so collection in person from the HP5 area of Chesham would be advisable. They would make a great addition to any antiquarian book lovers collection. A must for anyone who is interested in war memorabilia and history.
