Winter-Flowering, Scented, Evergreen Buddleia Cuttings (CT11)

There are cuttings from a buddleia auriculata - winter-flowering, scented, evergreen. I also have cuttings from a cobnut / hazel tree. An expert gardening friend says most trees can be grown from cuttings if you cut just below a bud and put 1/3 of the cutting under the soil. It might help to scrape off a section of the thin top layer of the piece that's going under the soil. Want to give it a go?
