This is a long shot, I know, but if anyone has a plane blade like the one in the picture (it's a Stanley SB3) lurking unwanted in a garage or shed, or inherited from a woodworking relative, I would be so grateful for it. They still make the plane, which of course comes with the blade, but you can't buy replacement blades for the plane that you already have.
Failing that, if anyone has a smoothing plane with a lovely sharp blade that they no longer want, that would also be very gratefully received and pressed into service.
