Mahogany? veneer pieces (BN3)

I found these as levellers under the keys of a 1920s piano. They look like the kind of thing used on Salvage Hunters The Restorers, and on YouTube furniture restorer content to repair chipped veneer on old furniture. Probably waste veneer from the piano makers.

Anyone interested? Would also be good for marquetry work. Or leveling piano keys!
It would be a shame to bin them as it's not something you can just pick up in B&Q.
