Request: Old cutlery for art project (West Hove BN3) I am making a metal kinetic sculpture about plates and cakes and think it would be great to incorporate some cutlery or other metal kitchen items. If anyone has any cutlery, even better if it has any embossed patterns on the handles. Forks too would be particularly useful to make cogs. But anything would be great for this like supporting legs, cam shaft bracket, etc. Also any other metal kitchen implements e.g. coffee pot plungers, spud mashers, corkscrew, etc I'm at the design stage so a pile of potentially useful bits and bobs would be really helpful. Also looking for some bits of clear acrylic to make cogs. Anything I could cut a4cm circle out of would be great. Thank you (Photo is one I made recently and is in Worthing Open26 at the mo.)

Request: Empty cat food pouch boxes (West Hove BN3) Expired I will be teaching a craft class in December and the card from pet food pouch boxes is the perfect size and thickness. I would love to save some from recycling if you have any please. My cats don't get through enough despite their new winter appetites!

Request: Wire bound notebook wire (West Hove BN3) Expired I use the wire for crafting but only use over notebook year. If there is anyone or a business that regularly throws away the notebooks, I would gladly take them please. I can use the wire and the cardboard backing.

Request: Pliers and wipeable tablecloth (West Hove BN3) Received I am in need of a few pairs of pliers to teach an automata class in early December. If anyone has any that they no longer need I would love to make use of them please. Condition doesn't matter - I can refurbish them if rusty or the ridges need filing out etc. I would be very grateful, to save everyone sharing the 2 pairs I have. Also if anyone has a plastic tablecloth, that would be fab, to protect the hired table. Thank you.

Request: Broken wooden chair/furniture (West Hove BN3) Received Hi there. Does anyone have an old dark wood chair or other small furniture that they no longer need please? It doesn't matter what state it is in as I'm looking for something to use for crafting. I have been using the wood from one similar to the photo but anything with that kind of wood would be great.

Request: Piano music grades 1 to 7 (West Hove BN3) Expired I have just restarted learning piano after a 40 year break, and wondered it anyone has any spare graded music books please. Anything from scales and arpeggios, sight reading, music pieces, etc. Anything from Grades 1 to 7 should be great. Thank you.

Free: Mahogany? veneer pieces (BN3) Gifted I found these as levellers under the keys of a 1920s piano. They look like the kind of thing used on Salvage Hunters The Restorers, and on YouTube furniture restorer content to repair chipped veneer on old furniture. Probably waste veneer from the piano makers. Anyone interested? Would also be good for marquetry work. Or leveling piano keys! It would be a shame to bin them as it's not something you can just pick up in B&Q.

Take some or all of it. Preference given to anyone who can collect sooner. Request: Variegated sock yarn ends 4ply (West Hove BN3) Expired I am knitting 20 stitch x 8 row pieces in multicoloured sock yarn for a project but only have 2 colours. If anyone has ends of sock yarn balls, even small bits, that they don't need any more, I would love to make use of them please, to add interest. Many thanks

Request: Old guitar strings (West Hove BN3) Expired Are there any advice guitar players out there who have used or spare guitar strings that are destined for the bin? I would gratefully repurpose them for crafting. My shoes are getting low and they are great for springy movements and flies on my moving sculptures.

Request: PG Tips instant black tea granules (West Hove BN3) Expired Bit of a long shot but does anyone has a jar of this or equivalent languishing in the back of their cupboard? It's great for camping and I would love to give it a new home I'm down to the last few granules and PG Tips no longer makes it. Even small amounts gratefully received as a little goes long way...

Free: Ricoh printer (West Hove BN3) Gifted Office grade printer/multi function device. As new. Instruction leaflets and cables included. I have only used it as scanner as I couldn't get it to attach to my home network. It is heavy so probably need transport. Preference given to quick collection. Easy parking right outside.
