This is a very pretty South African bulb that needs full sun it will not grow in the shade. It prefers a gritty soil and not heavy soil but can be grown in a pot. Plant it with the bulb head just sitting proud not too deep.
You will need a bit of patience because it will take awhile to bulk up.
