Free: White Lysmachia roots (Morden SM4) You will have to trust me on this one that the roots I have dug up will grow. It’s a lovely plant and it’s no trouble at all, the slugs and snails seem to ignore it. It will spread slowly and come up every year. All I do is cut it down at the end of the year when it seems to be finishing. The first picture is in my garden, it’s the one with the white spikes. Mine is grown in full sun. They die down and come up in the spring. Ready to plant right away.

Free: Cutting of Solomon’s Seal (Morden SM4) The cutting offered is looking is a bit small but it’s absolutely fine. I normally put in small cuttings and forget about them and mark where they are. It flowers around May June time and comes up each year and recedes in the winter. It’s ready to plant now and prefers semi shade/ shade but will grow in the sun and spread slowly. I have a large clump so be patient. It recedes slowly after flowering. Then I cut it back.

Free: Broad Leaf Thyme Caribbean (Morden SM4) Gifted It is called several different names. This is a very unusual plant and it will NOT overwinter in this country. However if you take cuttings which I do and keep the small one going in the winter. I plant it out in the summer and it will grow quite large. In a pot. Just take off a piece and put it in a glass of water until it roots. It can be grown indoors in a sunny place. Always grow Herbs in full sun. It can be used in exactly the same way as the normal Thyme. Don't overwater. Keep inside until May. This is only a baby I HAVE ONLY JUST POTTED IT UP. KEEP INSIDE UNTIL MAY AND DONT MOVE UNTIL MORE ROOTS FORM.

Free: Sambucus black beauty shrub cutting (Morden SM4) Gifted This is an extremely beautiful shrub and very large too it is not for a tiny garden. It can grow to 10 feet high and at five foot wide. It has pink flowers which is very stark against the black foliage and followed by black berries. The sunnier place it is in the blacker the leaves will go. Mine is in semi shade. The picture with the pink flowers is from the Internet the other pictures are from my garden. THIS CUTTING HAS ROOTS BUT NEEDS TO GROW A LOT MORE BEFORE PLANTING OR YOU WILL LOSE IT. I reduce mine in the winter to around 3 feet to stop it getting too big. When it is fully grown. Please remember that all my cuttings are small plants and will take time to grow. Happy to include other plants if not promised.

Free: Helenium Seedling (Morden SM4) Gifted This is a very easy to grow plant. The flowers shown are in my own garden last August and the slugs don’t seem to bother them which is great. As you can see they make clumps I only ever had one plant which I have divided up over the years. I do what they call the Chelsea chop in May. This means I literally take the shears to it and reduce it by half. In another part of the garden I’ll let it grow taller. An easy to grow a plant and all it needs is to be cut down at the end of the season. It will pop up again next year. I am always happy to include any other plants if not promised.

Free: Hardy Pink Geranium seedling (Morden SM4) Gifted Hardy pink Geranium measures about a metre by metre when it’s fully grown. It will come up every year and has pink flowers as shown in pics. The slugs don’t seem to touch it so it’s a very good plant. I cut it right down after flowering and then you may get another flush. They are very good plants to put in between roses or to fill out your borders that are very reliable. You can plant now and either plant it straight in the ground including the peat pot or wait until it grows more roots and the remove it.
