Free: Not sure Hardy Geranium seedling (Morden SM4) Here I have a hardy geranium NOT SURE WHAT COLOUR BLUE OR WHITE plant that is herbaceous, which means they come up each year. She is a ground cover and doesn't grow higher than six inches or so. Hardy Geraniums are great fillers and do well planted amongst other plants like roses or spaces that are difficult. I wouldn’t be without them. All I do to these plants every year it’s just cut them down at the end of the summer and they grow basically on their own with no real attendance. OK to plant straight out water in this weather though.

Free: White Lysmachia two roots (Morden SM4) Gifted It’s a lovely plant and it’s no trouble at all, the slugs and snails seem to ignore it. It will spread slowly and come up every year. All I do is cut it down at the end of the year when it seems to be finishing. The first picture is in my garden, it’s the one with the white spikes. Mine is grown in full sun. They die down and come up in the spring. Ready to plant right away. Just plop it in. Sorry they are smaller but will soon grow.

Free: Small Seedling of White Hibiscus (Morden SM4) Gifted For those that missed the first listing of Hibiscus here is another. Gorgeous Hibiscus. Eventually you will have a shrub with white flowers like the pic. Sometimes you get a blue one you never know. The pic of the white flowers is the parent shrub in my garden. I prune mine by a third each year. It is happy outside you don't need to bring it in it is very hardy. Do let the roots fill the pot before planting or you will lose it. She is a tiny seedling with big aspirations. As long as you are patient. If you want any other plants I’m happy to add them if not promised.

Free: Red mophead Hydrangea Seedling (Morden SM4) Gifted This is a very pretty hydrangea, that changes colour. She is only a seedling and I think it would probably be wise to put her on in a slightly larger pot to let her get larger before you put it in the ground when the roots fill the pot. Hydrangeas like a semi shady spot, they will grow in the sun as long as they are not baked all day. Cuttings are always worthwhile because put them in and forget about it and keep doing it and soon you will have a lovely garden full of plants.

Free: Darmera Peltata cutting damp spots (Morden SM4) I dug this piece up quite because it is in the way of another plant, so it’s not something that I normally list , so it’s a one off. As you can see the leaves are huge sometimes up to 50 cm, it’s a very striking plant and the pink flowers arrive in spring on naked stems. Then come the leaves. It really is suitable for somewhere damp although I must say I have it in my garden in semi sun but then my soil is very good. if you had a pond area, it’s great for that on the edges.

Free: Helenium cutting (Morden SM4) Gifted This is a very easy to grow plant. The flowers shown are in my own garden last August and the slugs don’t seem to bother them which is great. As you can see they make clumps I only ever had one plant which I have divided up over the years. I do what they call the Chelsea chop in May. This means I literally take the shears to it and reduce it by half. In another part of the garden I’ll let it grow taller. An easy to grow a plant and all it needs is to be cut down at the end of the season. It will pop up again next year. Its ok to plant now I am always happy to include any other plants if not promised.

Free: Ice Plant Delosperma yellow (Morden SM4) Gifted I decided to try and grow these plants from seed which were quite difficult to raise but nevertheless here she is all grown up and ready to plant. If you then want to propagate them for next year all you need to do is take a branch off. Let it dry out and seal at the end and then plant it in a pot and overwinter. Ice plants which are groundcover plants and prefer a free draining stony type soil. They are perennial plants that come up each year. I lost mine last year because it was so wet.
