This is a Bosch 24V battery drill from the days of NiCad batteries. It has sat unused for maybe a decade so the battery is completely dead. Other than that I know nothing about the history of this drill - it does not look to have had a hard life, but I have no way to test it to confirm it's working. NiMH replacement batteries are still available for this drill. Alternatively, the keyless chuck appears to be in excellent condition and could possibly used to repair another drill.
It will go to the small electricals recycling in a few days if no takers.
