Insulation material (Merchiston EH10)

There is a gap behind a skirting board a few centimetres deep about 5 metres in length, that communicates directly with the sub-floor space. I need some soft insulation material like glass wool to insert in the space before I seal it off with membrane. If anyone has any left over insulation material that might suitable, I would be most grateful.
