These bats have a mesh area for whacking whatever you’re whacking, so you’ll need to whack something soft, like a small sponge ball or a rolled up sock. That means, of course, that this could be a good game for children in the garden or elsewhere.... no injuries or broken windows. And if the sock-ball goes over the fence or gets stuck up a tree, you can easily replace it. So there’s another advantage...you can now use up those odd socks you’ve got hanging about!
