Sofa. Long soft 3-seater. Double recliner (not electric). (Wolverton MK12)

We've taken pictures of the two arm ends, as this is the place that usually gives the best indication of how worn or stained a sofa is. We cannot detect wear or staining there. There has always been a non-uniform colour on the seats you put your bottom on - some parts are lighter and some darker. I have not thought of this as a stain, but more like a shadow. It is so welcoming and friendly to sit on, it has never worried me. If you look at the pic taken from the right you can see the different shades - but if you look at the picture from the left, the colour looks uniform - not sure if it is partly like how strips of grass mown in different directions appear a different shade of green?
