Sony Minidisc Deck (Dane Hills LE3)

This model is a Sony Minidisc Deck, model number MDS-JE770, but it has a fault. At one time it was part of my stereo system but then it developed this fault. It became part of my stereo system at a time when Digital Minidiscs were becoming a thing because they can be recorded on and were replacing cassette tapes.
   Regarding the fault, there's a minidisc in the machine but I found I couldn't eject it using the eject button. I put it in my loft where it’s been sitting for several years waiting for me to do something about it. My guess is that for someone with good electronics knowledge it might be easy to repair so I've decided to give it away in the hope that it can find a home with someone who hopefully has the skills to fix it.
