Sony Minidisc Deck (Dane Hills LE3)

This model is a Sony Minidisc Deck, model number MDS-JE770, but it has a fault. At one time it was part of my stereo system but then it developed this fault. It became part of my stereo system at a time when Digital Minidiscs were becoming a thing because they can be recorded on and were replacing cassette tapes. Regarding the fault, there's a minidisc in the machine but I found I couldn't eject it using the eject button. I put it in my loft where it’s been sitting for several years waiting for me to do something about it. My guess is that for someone with good electronics knowledge it might be easy to repair so I've decided to give it away in the hope that it can find a home with someone who hopefully has the skills to fix it.

Cambridge Audio DAB receiver (Dane Hills LE3)

This model is a Cambridge Audio DAB 300 Digital Tuner but it has a fault. At one time it was part of my stereo system but then it developed this fault. The on/off switch doesn't work and, presumably as a consequence, the other function buttons don't do anything. I put it in my loft where it’s been sitting for several years waiting for me to do something about it. I've no idea to what extent this is a fully functioning battery My neighbours are throwimg everything, and I really do mean everything, away. So I'm rescuing some things in the hope of getting them recycled rather than going to the Council tip. This is a 36V 6.6AH battery. You can see more information about it by looking at the photo of the label on the battery.

Coat stand is 6ft high. It’s nice looking but does show signs of age in that it is a little wobbly. But it’s still usable – we had around 5 or 6 coats hanging on it. If necessary I can deliver it, using my campervan.

Sofa B (Dane Hills LE3)

This is the second of two sofas that we want to get rid of as they don't suit our future plans. The upholstery is of an old fashioned style, which is what attracted me to it when I bought it second hand several years ago, but the upholstery is removable if you wanted to dry clean it, repair it (see below), or replace it. It's quite big so if you do want it then you will probably need to arrange for a van to collect it. See below for size but I’ll also mention that it’s fairly heavy. The sofa doesn't have a manufacturer’s fire safety regulation labelling. Regards size, it's around 1.8 metres wide, 1 metre deep and 70cm tall. It is mostly in fair but not great condition. I should draw your attention to something which you can see in the photographs. The left hand corner of the sofa has had a cat scratch away at a bit of the upholstery.

This is one of two sofas that we want to get rid of as they don't suit our future plans. I contacted AgeUK to see if they want it as they do home collection, but they told me their warehouse is full. It's quite big so if you do want it then you will probably need to arrange for a van to collect it, although the good news is that it's not very heavy. The sofa is in fair but not great condition. It does have the manufacturer’s fire safety regulation labelling. Regards size, it's around 1.9 metres wide, 90cm deep and 90cm tall.

The table top is 76x76cm. The table height is 69cm. This used to be a card table but I removed the felt a few years ago. It's reasonably stable but does have a slight wobble. It's light to carry and easy to get in a car so if you wish I'm willing to deliver within (say) 5 or 6 miles of my home in the Western Park area of Leicester.

Warm cycling top (Dane Hills LE3)

Warm cycling top. It's padded so good for cold weather. As with many cycling tops, it has pockets at the back in which you can put your phone, wallet etc. I'm a medium build guy of medium height. I'm giving it because it's slightly too tight for me - it's approx 38 inches round. I've no idea why it says "Sowester safety harness" on it. It's not a safety harness, it's a padded cycling top.
