All the LEDs work, including the red and green ones, and the visible light and infrared sensors probably work, although I didn’t test.

For sure the rechargeable battery is no good (leaking), and the USB-C plug seems loose, too, maybe the cause of the faulty battery. This is a new lamp that didn’t work out of the box. You’ll also get the USB-A to USB-C charging cable, and the box with instructions for charging and the switch settings.
