I'm pruning so there are cuttings of fuchsia magellenica [grows to 1m & like all fuchsias the flowers and berries are edible]; penstemon [good for wildlife]; sweet box/ sarcococca humilis [evergreen, grows in shade, winter scented flowers for wildlife & you]; maybe other plants too. There are evergreen euphorbias happy in shade & great for wildlife - maybe Euphorbia amygdaloides var. robbiae.
Tell me what you want so I don't compost it!
You could also have seeds of hellebore orientalis [evergreen, winter flowering & happy in shade]. There are low growing, big leaved evergreen hardy geraniums - scented leaves & great ground cover as well as being edible leaves & flowers. The epimediums are shade-lovers that spread quickly, covering the ground with low, leathery foliage.
