LG Direct Drive 8kg. Recently descaled but that wasn't the problem. Working but has 2 issues:
It takes a long time to fill with water on a normal cycle and gets an "Inlet Error" warning then stops. This can be circumvented by using the Prewash setting, or just doing Rinse & Spin a couple of time, as drawer #1 fills normally. It's the #2 side with the problem. A normal cotton quick wash takes 1hr 3 mins. Prewash adds 10 minutes.
Second fault started last night. Possibly the Inlet valve is broken. The machine s now slowly filling with water even when switched off. This can be managed by turning the water off between washes.
It spins fine. I have always used 800 so that the machine would last longer, but all 3 speeds, no spin, rinse hold, and the timer (useful if you hav cheaper electricity overnight) all work normally.
We've decided to start over-- but perhaps someone will make use of this or be willing to fix it. Any questions, please ask. We are near Harlow Mill.
