Free: Pair of Gold Velvet Curtains (High Wych CM21) Gifted Poor condition but may do someone a good turn. Each Curtain: (I measured one, presumably they're both the same): 68" long drop (including 1/2" hem) 127" wide Our curtain rail, so the width the tape is currently set to: 140" wide If it helps, the window they covered was 55" tall and 108" wide. Their frayed edges annoyed me but I didn't notice they are faded in places. They are unlined but block out a lot of light (not to a blackout standard) and obviously provide privacy. The 1/2" hem has come down. If unwanted as curtains they'd make good sized drop cloths, but need a good shake out of any dust outdoors first. Crafters/ curtain makers, they are made with standard 3" tape. You will need to take the curtains away to unpick the tape for re-use. I can't do it for you. They come with many old plastic curtain hooks, but you would be wise to have some of your own.

Free: Washing Machine: manageable orspares or repair (High Wych CM21) Gifted LG Direct Drive 8kg. Recently descaled but that wasn't the problem. Working but has 2 issues: It takes a long time to fill with water on a normal cycle and gets an "Inlet Error" warning then stops. This can be circumvented by using the Prewash setting, or just doing Rinse & Spin a couple of time, as drawer #1 fills normally. It's the #2 side with the problem. A normal cotton quick wash takes 1hr 3 mins. Prewash adds 10 minutes. Second fault started last night. Possibly the Inlet valve is broken. The machine s now slowly filling with water even when switched off. This can be managed by turning the water off between washes. It spins fine. I have always used 800 so that the machine would last longer, but all 3 speeds, no spin, rinse hold, and the timer (useful if you hav cheaper electricity overnight) all work normally. We've decided to start over-- but perhaps someone will make use of this or be willing to fix it. Any questions, please ask. We are near Harlow Mill.

Request: 2 x 1 kg hand weights (High Wych CM21) Expired Would anyone have 2 x 1kg hand weights languishing in a cupboard please? They could be the mini-barbell style or wrist or ankle weights, or just the little round weights for a barbell. I am recovering from cancer surgery. My range of movement is returning and I am now allowed to start some strength exercises. My physiotherapist said I could get away with using water bottles. The trouble is, to get them heavy enough, they are a foot long, which means it's difficult to not bump them into each other overhead. I've tried bags of rice, but then the grip is too big. I'm checking on here first, because if I buy them, you can bet my fabulous physio will up the weight to 1.5 within a month or two. Has anyone got two 1kg weights that I could please have ? I've also seen weighted gloves on the market. Did anybody buy those and regret them? I will gladly give them a new home. Thanks for reading. Other makeshift ideas also welcome.
Free: Kenwood Mixer near Harlow Mill (High Wych CM21) Gifted . Tell me what you already bake or what you plan to bake. Not just "is it available?", which makes me feel like you won't use it. Mixer was originally from another Freegler some years ago. Well used but plenty of life in it, hopefully. My mother-in-law no longer wants hers, which is identical, so I'm offering this one. This mixer makes a lot of noise, but has done so since I received it. I suspect it will eventually need a new motor. Right now it works, it's just that it's louder than it probably should be. Also, the bowl is in Good, but not perfect condition. There is a tiny chip on the rim, and the rim feels a little rough in places. It's not going to cut anybody. It's just not smooth. The flaws are on the top edge of the bowl so don't affect it's function. The K- shaped beater is in perfect condition. This item is HEAVY. With the bowl, it's more than 9kg. It's about 14" long and 12" tall. The bowl makes it about 10.5" wide. My mother-in-law is getting rid of hers because it's too heavy to get out of the cupboard. Please think about whether you have space for it and are willing to lift it. Collection only, due to its weight.
