Training gloves (need repairing) (Stanstead St Margarets SG12)

Pair of Everlast Training gloves (for boxing etc) which were used about twice before they split (see photos). I was too late to return them to Sports Direct so before I dispose of them I wondered if anyone who has the ability to repair them might want to have a go and saving them from landfill? I don't have the right sewing gear to fix them but someone out there might have :)
