Free: Long pillow with 3 pillowcases (Stanstead St Margarets SG12) This is a long pillow with 3 pillowcases. It is a bit lumpy but still has use, perhaps for pets? Would love it if it could be put to good use rather than go to landfill.

Free: Grass plant for shade/wet (Stanstead St Margarets SG12) Expired I recently dug up a clump of grass - I believe it is called Acorus gramineus. It seems to like shade and damp conditions (near ponds?). It has been in water and new shoots are emerging (see pictures) so definitely alive. I have divided it into about 10 bits but could be divided further and potted on/put directly in the ground. I have left it in a bowl outside my front door so can be collected whenever - enough for 3 or 4 freeglers. Please just let me know when you can collect so I can monitor how much is left for the next person. Cathy

Request: Small offcuts of roofing felt (Stanstead St Margarets SG12) Received I'm making small bird boxes and would appreciate any small offcuts of roofing felt which I can use for the tops of the boxes so they will last longer. Thank you for reading :) Cathy

Free: Red hot poker plants (Stanstead St Margarets SG12) Gifted I have lots (and I mean lots) of red hot poker plants to give away. I have dug them all out of my front bed (see first picture to see what they look like in May/June) and they are now in water (after having had a bit of a trim). See the other 2 photos for what they are like individually and to see how many I have. They have thrived in my front bed which gets lots of sun and not much water. They multiple quite rapidly so you only need to start off with 3 or 4 plants. Plenty to go round! If you are interested, please just pop round with a container/bag and help yourself to a few. Just respond and I will let you know our address. Cathy

Free: Training gloves (need repairing) (Stanstead St Margarets SG12) Gifted Pair of Everlast Training gloves (for boxing etc) which were used about twice before they split (see photos). I was too late to return them to Sports Direct so before I dispose of them I wondered if anyone who has the ability to repair them might want to have a go and saving them from landfill? I don't have the right sewing gear to fix them but someone out there might have :)

Free: Foldable toy pram (Stanstead St Margarets SG12) Gifted Lovely foldable toy pram which has seen lots of play! The hood material has a couple of worn bits but otherwise in good condition.

Free: (Rocking) horse (Stanstead St Margarets SG12) Gifted Sturdy plastic horse which can serve as a rocking horse but will also detach and wheel along.

Free: Play cooker (Stanstead St Margarets SG12) Gifted Lovely play cooker which has had lots of use but now time to pass on to other toddlers! Would suit a nursery/pre-school. Quite bulky but probably comes apart if necessary.

Request: Broken paving slabs/hardcore (Stanstead St Margarets SG12) Received I am designing a small (3m x 3m) patio area and am looking for some broken paving slabs/hardcore which would serve as a base on top of which I am going to use reclaimed bricks (I have these already). Free: GCSE English Literature Set books (annotated) (Stanstead St Margarets SG12) Gifted Three set texts for GCSE English Literature available: Romeu and Juliet, An Inspector Calls and Christmas Carol. As the second photo shows, they are full of annotations (by my son) which may be useful for someone.

Free: Wadding (Stanstead St Margarets SG12) Gifted Two big bits of wadding which have been separated from some foam that they were stuck to. Could be used for stuffing something?

Free: Mattress toppers (Stanstead St Margarets SG12) Gifted Two mattress toppers which have been used by my son for sleepovers. The covers are removable and washable. The white one is quite heavy and thick. The grey one is lighter and thinner. Would need a wash to freshen up.
