Beautiful, solid hard wood, vintage (antique?) bureau with 2 long drawers with gorgeous beading detail and “barley twist” styled legs. Dimensions width 29.5” (75cm) x height 40” (102cm) x depth 16” (40cm). This was Freecycled to me as a “work in progress” but now too busy to complete it.
Previous owner had almost finished sanding it back to the original wood and started to wood filler where needed. They replaced the backing and drawer bases loosely with tacks (provided) which could be repainted or replaced fresh! It has a key and brass hinges, but needs some fab knobs…
A great summer recycle project. Easy collection, no steps, and not over heavy.
