3 seater wooden garden bench - needs repair (Fords Farm RG31)

Whilst sanding this bench in preparation for a new coat of stain, I found a broken joint at the back of the seat. It is obviously repairable but I do not have the skill, tools or strength to repair it (see photo 2). The rest of the seat seems to be ok and it was still being used daily without mishap - until the damage was noticed! I am offering it in the hope that someone can repair it or recycle it in some way.
